The Box That Became A Status Symbol
The G63 looks much like it did in 1979 and drives like nothing that old ever could.
The hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft, sent to all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic, with three locking differentials for when the pavement ends. It reaches 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
The current generation kept the shape, the exposed door hinges and the famous sound of the door locks, and put a modern chassis underneath. It rides and steers far better than any G-Class before it.
This one is black with the Night Package and shows 7,600 miles.
